Isang Mangingisda sa Palawan ang Nakakuha ng Pinakamahal na Perlas sa Buong Mundo! Malulula kayo sa Presyo Nito!

A lucky unidentified fisherman was fishing off the shore of Palawan when he something and kept it immediately under his bed as a lucky charm. This fisherman didn’t know that the thing he’s hiding under his bed is an impeccable giant pearl. It has a potential of world record-breaking pearl.



The pearl was found 10 years ago. The fisherman really doesn’t have any idea that his “Lucky Charm” would have a whopping value of US $100 million (around PHP 5.05 billion). Surprisingly, the giant pearl was superseding the current world’s largest pearl. The Precious gem measures an astounding 1 foot wide and 2.2 feet long.The “Pearl of Allah”, the Lao Tzu’s pearl was also discovered in the same island back in 1934. The fisherman brought the precious gem with him and it checked to the stunned tourism officer in Puerto Princesa after he was forced to move out because a fire engulfed his wooden home. The story as to how the fisherman discovered the treasure shared by the tourism officer Aileen Cynthia Amurao.



“The fisherman threw the anchor down and on it stuck on a rock during a storm. He noticed that it was lodged in a shell and swam down to pull up the anchor, and also brought the shell with him. This was a decade ago, and he kept it at home.” She Narrated. She added, “Tourism officer Amurao declared that Puerto Princesa, Palawan would still hold the title for having the “Mother of all Pearls”.

"We now need help from gemologists to fully certify it, but we believe Puerto Princesa is likely to earn another prestigious title and record breaker for having the world’s biggest natural giant pearl from a giant clam”. Aileen said. The giant pearl currently exhibited to the public. 



This is also an opportunity to boost the country’s tourism and pride as we continuously look more discoveries that will grant the Philippines pride.
