Paula Defensor-Knack challenges Hontiveros and Robredo to debate

The later Miriam Santiago’s sister, Paula Defensor Knack, announced on social media her challenge for a debate with Senator Risa Hontiveros and Vice President Leni Robredo, and confidently claiming that she would easily “smash” the two.

Knack’s post started with her dismay at Hontiveros and Robredo reading written speeches which are emotional and provocative, but does not address current issues that the public wants to be addressed.

Knack emphasized that speeches like those belong to the game plane of “trapo”.

She cited political speeches of Winston Churchill, Charles de Gaulle, US presidents, Miriam Santiago, and Teodoro Locsin Jr. as speeches worthy of reflection, a style that neither Hontiveros nor Robredo can imitate.

The senator and vice president are more likely to refer to formula speeches when addressing a crowd, which does not win the crowd over.

Knack goes as far as citing their hypocritical stance whenever they talk about democracy and yet have been viral for allegedly supporting terrorist groups.

Addressing Secretary Salvador Panelo and Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II, Knack requested to have pertinent documents and intelligence reports regarding law, governance and democracy.

Knack then requested to debate with Robredo and Hontiveros on live TV so she can shame the two for their hypocritical stance.
