The father of Omran Daquneesh exposed how the mainstream media exploited the poor boy’s photos and demonized the Syrian army.

“The story is well known, they took his pictures and posted them and started trading with his blood,” Omran’s father said. In the interview, the interviewer asked what are those parties who tried to bribe him in order to have an interview  and demonize the Syrian government, the father said that these parties, the militants and some reporter, offered him big amounts of money, aid and donations- in order to spread fake news in and cause conflict in Syria.

According to Gavin Nascimento, a blogger, “The boy’s dad, Mohammed Daqneesh, says Omran had ‘minor injuries’ and did not actually have to go to the hospital. The blood smeared across the little boy’s face actually came from his dad’s wound that dripped on him. In the blog, Nascimento posted that Mohammed explained that after secured Omran. He looked for his other family members and they began taking pictures of the poor boy.

The worse is that his father said that, “They filmed him before providing first aid.” What a selfish act for those who took advantage on poor boy’s situation for them to sell their fake news.

In the video interview, Omran’s dad actually supports the Syrian government and opposes the ISIS who he blames as the real suspects for the terrors in the Middle East. He was also clueless on when did the strike occurred

Omran’s father added that the Western backed rebels’ reporter tried to bribe him, along with “many news agencies,” to blame the Syrian government.

“While this unfolding may shock some people under the spell of the ruling establishment, this type of shameful practice has been fairly common throughout history,” said Nascimento.
