2. It can reduce your cholesterol levels

Reportedly, the fiber found in beer may reduce your levels of LDL cholesterol (or the “bad cholesterol” because it increases your risk of having a heart disease). SF Gate said that a beer bottle contains around 0.2-1 percent of dietary fiber. 

3. It can also increase your level of Vitamin B 

One beer bottle allegedly contains lots of vitamins (B1, B2, B6, and B12). This was verified by CNN, who cited those vitamins B found in beers are much higher than the one in wines.

Apparently, drinking beer can make you have a higher bone density. This was backed up by Science Daily, who said that beer contains lots of silicon, which can help prevent osteoporosis. 

Why silicon? That’s because silicon is the main ingredient for increasing the bone’s mineral density.

5. Beer can help you battle your insomnia 

Reportedly, beer can cure insomnia in the long run because it has lactoflavin and nicotinic acid. Insomnia Land said that generally, alcohol has the capacity to increase your levels of dopamine in the brain. 

Dopamine is known as the “feel good” hormone which makes us feel calm. Apart from that, a blog said that lactoflavin and nicotinic acid can help you rest well in your sleep.

6. It can also reduce your risk of having a heart attack

Regular beer drinkers have a 40-60 percent chance of reducing their risk to have a heart attack.Daily Mail reported that traditional beers like ale and scout can cut the risk of having a heart disease. 

This is due to the high amount of antioxidants found in the drink. Antioxidants can “mop up harmful chemicals thought to cause heart attacks.” 

7. Beer can prevent blood clots from forming to your body 

It was revealed by Benefits of Beer that drinking dark-liquid beers can extremely reduce your risk to have a blood clot, particularly a bottle of Heineken. 

This is due to the fact that blood clots form in your body when you do not have enough liquid with you. Since beer has high water content, it also helps you in reducing blood clots. 

8. It can improve your memory 

Drinking beer allegedly has the ability to reduce your risk of having Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Tech Times reported that beer has Xanthohumol as one of its flavonoids. This helps decrease the degradation of memory in both animals and humans.

9. Drinking beer can help you reduce your stress levels 

Beer and Health reported that drinking moderate amounts of beer can “facilitate recovery of the physical stress response.” This meant that it has the ability to reduce the feeling of anxiety and stress levels. 

Reportedly, the University of Montreal said that two glasses of beer can reduce specifically work-related stress. 

10. Beer can make your skin look beautiful and more youthful 

The source said that certain vitamins in beer can “regenerate the skin and have a positive impact on pigmentation. Your skin becomes smoother and suppler.”
